As three couples it is hard to find trattorias that can accomodate us on a moment's notice. As a group of six, we usally would order starters, various main dishes, sides and salads and deserts. We would also order a ribbolitta soup (i.e. as its based on a recipe that is handed down generation to generation by the nona's) as one of our guages to determine how good a restuarant is. This restaurant had one of the best ribbolitta soups we had on our vacation, along with the overall best soup starter which was a faro, fagioli bean and mushroom soup that was the best soup of our trip. We ordered severl pici starters with different sauces. Their pici with ragu ) was excellent...

"We came here last year and it has taken me this long to find the restaurant again. I took a card and lost it. I am returning to Tuscany next week and it came to me that I must find this restaurant again. The experience has stayed with me. You feel spoilt by your surroundings and by the fabulous food..." and generous service. I am going to go back because I loved this place. Please try it and love it too.
