  "We were going to eat at the Weatherspoons (London Inn) Torquay last night, but changed our minds at the last minute and decided to eat at The Talk of The Town in Paignton which is also a Weatherspoons. Friday night is fish and chip night with a beer or wine for around £6-£7 (I dont pay, but know ..."its about that price) We had been to the Weatherspoons in Torquay last Friday for fish and chips,we were served luke warm chips and had to send them back.I did write a review on tripadvisor last week about our visit. We arrived at Talk of The Town about 6.30 pm got a seat quite easily and my husband ordered the food, it came fairly quickly but once again luke warm chips, I dont know, do they leave the chips cooked and standing in a warming tray or something then just dish them up. We sent them back as usual ,after hardly a few minutes a lovely plate of hot chips, fish and peas,why can they not get it right first time, The only thing I can think of is that they pre cook them read...
