  "It was a cloudy day with not many folk about but the restaurant was open for lunch and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had a couple of glasses of the local wine which was very good indeed. Then we shared the Mussels, which were amazing - even better than Rick Stein's in Padstow......."sorry Rick! This was followed by a Caprese Salad which was excellent and so fresh, as you would expect, and a seafood pizza which although not amazing was full of fresh ingredients and very tasty. Total cost of meal including the wine was €29 for the two of us - fantastic value. We would definitely recommend it and will return ourselves. Be sure to check out the views to the south, and the fish tank to the North! " More >

  "A simple menu, made simpler by our friendly, extrovert host recommending his 'specials' (anchovy bruschettas, fresh fish) and 'surpries' (gelatos in fruit shells). The free limoncello at the end topped off the evening nicely. Economical at about 33 euro each."

  "The food was amazing--we are foodies and this was the highlight of our food experience in Italy. We were just walking the streets and saw the beautiful terrace overlooking the street and thought we would look at the menu. It wasn't a place we had heard about before. But now we are telling everyone...." We had a fantastic lunch, the service was extraordinary, the food incredible.
