I had a starter of asparagus with lightly cooked eggs in a bearnaise sauce which was perfect and delicious, followed by shoulder of Welsh lamb with black pudding and fresh vegetables - again just the nright quantity and balance, and I finished up with a red berry Eton mess and coffee. Apparently the chef is a recent "acquisition" and was a Masterchef finalist.
