  "Have had many meals at The Globe over the last few years, mainly with work friends but a few times with family including a very lovely Christmas Day 2011 when the staff could not do enough for us and the atmosphere and meal were both excellent. Have been to leaving do's and birthday lunches etc and ..."each time I have had a good experience. Good range of ales and the food has always been good quality and fresh. They have some nice specials each day and the main menu has good choices with a few old favourites but also something different, with several veggie choices etc. lots of snacks and light bites if you don't want anything to heavy. Lovely surroundings, even though it is on a busy road. In the winter they have log fires and it is really cosy inside. Plenty of parking at the back and if you want to sit outside there is a nice area to the side. Have never had any complaints. " More >
