We were informed it had been frozen but was very good, so we ordered it. Growing up in a fishing area, we are both very discriminating about our seafood, and we have to say that there was that 'just off taste' that can happen when fish is not fresh or frozen for too long. One the 2nd. occasion, less than a week ago, one person in our party ordered the mahi mahi, and she said it was not great. The other three meat dishes were excellent; as were the appies and dessert. I still really like this restaurant and would definitely go again, but probably would not try the seafood. " More >

  "Our first time back here for 5 years. Looking forward to a good Stilton ploughman's lunch.. So disappointed, not a good old English pub Ploughman's. the Stilton cheese was great, and a generous portion. What was missing, pickled onions, crusty bread, Branson pickle.....what I got. Pâté, asparagu..."s, a salad, and some sweet pickle.... The atmosphere inside was great. The outside patio and the gardens were amazing. Maybe steak & Kidney pie next time.
