Some really Canadian foods were available - like mooseburgers, venison steak etc, Not exactly to our taste but the food was good overall. More

A tin shack as a restaurant, wild game, Toronto prices but without any of the overhead. All unexpected. I think that kitchi-ness is what they come for. Apparently, the night I went, they came by the drunken bus load and I found myself walking into an unlocked ladies' room to find a gentleman (wrong term) happily urinating in front of... More

Ted's was recommended to us as "number eight of the top 150 restaurants in Canada" and a "must go". "Don't park on the helipad, stars fly in to eat here". That's a pretty strong recommendation and it sure had me looking forward to trying this culinary wonder. This place is a quonset hut, rather dumpy looking and somewhat charming...if you... More

Ted's is the best place to eat in this area, it's not cheap, but worth every penny. Wednesday night is jam night, thats the best time to go! More

Have been to Ted's a number of times, and while I always enjoy the food, the cleanliness of the restaurant is worriesome. Don't dare look up at the vents for fear of what may drop into your food at any moment, and the washrooms are, well, in a word.... disgusting!!! Come on owners! You have a thriving business, put a... This is an unusual spot! The menu is varied and takes awhile to read - it is on chalkboard throughout the restaurant. Prices are high, but food is good! Vegetables fresh, yorkshire pudding wonderful! More

Do not turn away when you first arrive at he Quanset hut . The food will always bring you back. If you go on a jam night (wed.). The fun and the people will bring you back. You will never see a menu like this anywhere. All of it fantastic. From seafood crepes to a bison burger Ted's has it... More

Ted's is the kind of place you have to try at least once. The menu includes elk, bison, ostrich, alligator, kangaroo, several varieties of fish plus your ordinary pub food (burgers, etc). I had the pickerel which unfortunately was not very good. My husband was more adventurous and decided to have the kangaroo even though it was quite expensive. A... More

The Range Road Diner on a country road in the middle of nowhere. The building is a complete one- off: a Quonset hut with a stone floor and chip board walls. The menu mixes diner faces like burgers with exotica like alligator, emu venison and other game. Service not the fastest in the world, but friendly, customer-centered and helpful. There... More
