We had read all the earlier reviews, so our expectations were high indeed. The time of our visit was about 1600 when the sun still was shining. Our table was close to the large windows, like a number of the other tables. Because all of the better tables were reserved we could not change. We decided to try to live...

Dropped by on the way to Hanko. Should have stayed for a proper meal as the menu was excellent. That said, I got the meringue&lemon tart which was sublime. My companion took a strange looking open sandwich which looked a bit sad and dry from standing around too long in the vitrine. She had no comment and she was too...

Just got back from two weeks crusing the archipelago and Helsinki, and we enjoyed our meal at Cafe Ada more than any other place we visited. The setting near the guest harbor is lovely and both the food and wine were superb. I particularly liked the duck tagine. Ekenas is also a lovely town well worth adding to your itinerary.

The main course, fried perch with cauliflower-potato puree, was super. Really the finest meal we...

This was my third visit at Cafe Ada, and if possible, it just keeps on getting better and better!
The place is simply stunning: cosy and gorgeous at the same time, top class with a laid back atmosphere.
The hostess and host are wonderful & the service just about impeccable.
Not to mention the chef, Vekku, all my love! ;)...

The chef and owner obviously spend some time making sure that the meals are exquisitely planned, prepared, presented and paired with outstanding wines. The aroma on the Te Tera Sav. Blanc took me straight to NZ, and the meals were cooked to perfection. Its not a big menu or wine list, but it doesn't need to be. You need to...
