I ate here early May, I was alone eating and was made to feel very welcome. Complimentary ouzo and dips. The fish I ate was very tasty. We have been here during beggining of May which is off season for. Skiathos so naturally nOt all menu was available. However what we have eaten was really ecxellent and the prices very reasonable. The whole experience at Lyhnari was exceptional from the moment we arrived, the service was fantastic and the owners of the bar are very welcoming, if there are no tables there is an area to sit with a drink and wait for the next available table. Lyhnari tavern is located in a terrible position, as it took us 20 minutes to find, and food is not that good. More

I have eaten here in 2010 and 2011 and cant fault the food it was excellent,great service and friendly place.Maybe not the best location up a side street but they make up for it with the food.Try the sea perch my friend goes mad for it. More

Mine host, and his wife, are delightful people determined to make you visit memorable, and a wish to return. Perhaps the chance to see mine host and his staff demonstrate Greek dancing! Our second favourite restaurant after the Crazy Cow. More
