Food really nice in here. Really good value. Surprisingly nice inside. Tables could be better though (our was wobbly). I'd recommend definitely - great view of the cliffs if you sit up at the window stools.

Good food, value for money - we use it all the time. Then after you've filled your stomachs, enjoy the walk along the sea front. Great place for dog walkers, they provide a drink for them as well. Ice creams always popular when we have the weather (and when we don't). Parking along the Coast Road is easy and you... More

The stray just wouldnt be the same without this cafe.I can remember it well from days at the seaside as a child! Luckily it has been modernised and brought up to date but still serves lovely food and ice cream!

Been here a few times and expected it too be busy - which it was! Prepared to wait because food is always up to a good standard. Not today though. Somehow my food order went missing and judging by the commotion behind the counter i was not the only one complaining. An apology would have been nice but instead the... More

We called in here today (Easter Monday) and were slightly disappointed that they had hardly anything left. I had to have a plain cheese toastie, which was very nice. I usually call here if I've been walking along the stray and it's usually good food. Maybe today was an off day. At busy times the staff can be abrupt and... More

Had some good meals and experiences but at times the service could be better, a smile doesn't really cost anything, when its busy the staff are rather rushed and harassed. Nothing special but a decent little café, handy for the park and the beach. Good value for what you get, decent breakfast, good snacks and drinks. I am pleased they... More

What one might call a "Transport Caff" by the Seaside. A good basic café to have a break after walking along the prom/beach especially with two lively dogs. Outside seating provided and water bowls for dogs. Snack food & coffees were o.k., nothing special. A very convenient place to have a rest.
