This was my second time to Escada, first time was 4 years earlier and the food and the ambience has not changed. We were greeted warmly by the staff, food was simply presented however full of flavour. Try the chorizo cooked at the table. Whilst the dining room is basic the Restraurant has something quaint about it.

Went here on the recommendation of a friend who is a regular visitor to Macau, and found the place very disappointing. Very slow service for over-priced, average food. There are much better Portugese restaurants in Macau offering better food and more concerned service at a lower price.

I visited Escada after reading its write up about its food. Went there with 10 adults and 2 kids. The environment is comfortable, simply and nice. The food is delicious but a bit expensive. May be it is 'authentic' and it was my first time taste Protugese cuisine. However, we are satisfied with the food. We ordered different types of...

So it the Clamswith lemon, another ordinary tasting dish. We also ordered a set dinner of grilled macau sole, which comes with soup, dessert and coffee. The waitress didnt bring me the dessert and...

Didn't really like the food here. Not quite traditional.
I have tried many Portuguese food before, "SMALL ELEPHANT" in Taipa is much better.

I am Portuguese, so I had high expectations and a criteria that is more strict when it comes to evaluate portuguese cuisine. I didn't expect to have an exact copy of portuguese food but at least to feel the tastes and the flavors that are part of our gastronomical culture.
The starters were really tasty and quite good in comparison...

We stumbled upon this gem hidden at the predestrian lane behind the main post office and Senado Square. The ambience is good. Cosy little outlet. We had duck baked rice and clam soup. They even have authentic Portugese beer and soft drinks.
Will definitely return if I were to go to Macau again.

I chose this restaurant for lunch because it came highly recommended in the 2011 Lonely Planet China guide. My first choice had been another LP recommendation nearby - Alfonso III - but it was closed.
The waitress was friendly and helpful. I ordered African chicken (148 HKD), mineral water (20 HKD for 150 ml; large was out of stock) and...
