If you like to feel like in Portugal, once you will get inside A Lorcha you will feel like travelled kilometres away from Asia and you will enjoy a real portuguese food experience. Better book in advance specially on weekends and public holidays.

Not sure about the rest but to me this is still one top Portuguese restaurant. Good food, good service, good environment and good price, what else can you ask some more. To avoid any disappointment, I would suggest to book in advance. You must try the African chicken and Sangria..

We enjoyed very much the food and in general it is a nice place with a good price/quality ratio...a great choice if you are tired of Chinesse food.
The service was also kind and quick.
The Cons:

2.- Toilettes should be upgraded....

I normally make reservation by email weeks before I go. Tables are always full. Recommended food would be lamb chop, seafood rice, oxtail and clam soup. Roughly about HKD100/pax, depending on what you order.

A great alternative to Fernando's, located in town, near the temple.
Nice atmosphere, helpful staff, good food and reasonably priced and a chance to try good local food.
Good idea to book, opens at 12.30-3.30 for lunch.Large serves so order a few dishes at a time.Would recommend.

-someone took our order and after 15 mins, no water, no bread, no anything
-we had...

The A Lorcha is the perfect lunch stop on a sightseeing trip. It is situated directly next to the A-Ma temple and the Maritime Museum, both of which are very much worth a visit, too! The food is excellent, the portions are huge and the staff is very obliging.
It might be a bit touristy and not the necessarily cheapest...

We made our way to A Lorcha for a traditional Portuguese lunch. We had read good things about this establishment and it did not disappoint. We started off with some chorizo, and an order of clams cooked with garlic and cilantro. The chorizo was delicious and the clams were fresh and tasty. The highlight of the meal was the seafood...

When living in Macau in the 1980's and 1990's this was one of my favourite restaurants, so I selected it for my birthday dinner this year as part of a trip down memory lane. Things have certainly changed, though the food is still good. there are now 2 sittings, 18.30 and 20.30, so if on the first sitting you really...
