You will stumble upon rude and bad services. The egg tarts are just ok....there are others better ones in Macau.

The location is a bit hard to find, so please prepare your map. The egg tarts are great and not expensive. (7 MOP, i believe) The seats are not enough for its popular and we had to queue around 2-3 metres long from the shop's door. But we managed to enjoy it with iced milk tea for 12 MOP.
Went there around lunch time (after 1pm) and there was a short queue. The queue moved very quickly and I bought 2 boxes and another 1 to eat on the spot. And it was wonderful... piping hot from the bakery. Must try if you're in Macau.
To be honest, we really only went there for egg tarts. My boyfriend is an egg-tart maniac and we went there to taste it. It was quite crowded and we thought it was going to be a long wait. But like most places with good reviews, it was worth the wait (AND it was only less than 5 minutes wait...

We just ordered fresh egg tarts which were great, place was packed though and menu seems to include many cheap options.
Really packed and crowded but people come and go pretty quick. Took about 5 minutes to get a table. You've gotta order inside at the cashier, who is not the friendliest of people around. The tarts maybe pretty pricey compared to other places yet it is pretty much worth it. Very flaky buttery pastry with soft silky egg custard.
Be prepared to stand in a line for a few minutes as the piping Hot Macau Egg Tarts only come out every 20 minutes and are immediately snapped up by hungry patrons. At least they queue. The worst part is the service staff. They are rude and abrupt and treat people badly. It is no wonder they have a sign...

Portuguese Egg-Tart at its best! Freshly bake from the hot oven really yummy and having one is not enough. DO NOT let the queue be a put-off or else you miss the opportunity to savour the heart & soul of Macau. Highly recommend & MUST Try!

On 13th Dec 2012, me and my wife stop-by at Margaret’s Café e Nata for tea and to taste their famous Portuguese egg tarts which many had opined to be equal or second only to the much acclaimed original Portuguese egg tarts from Lord Stow’s.
When we arrived, we found a long queue outside Margaret’s Café e Nata and the...
