You get amazingly traditional delicious Italian cuisine, on a fantastic tranquil island in Thailand. I enjoyed fresh salads, wood oven pizzas, strong drinks, and perfectly sweet Pannacotta. The food is not the only reason I kept going back, the scenery is breath taking. You get a handsome, shirtless, Italian man in a tropical island jungle working pizza dough. What more... More

You'll be surprised but the food was very tasty. Owned and run by an Italian, the ingredients were great and the food a positive surprise. Desert was yummy too! More

A short bike ride from the Ta Kao pier lies one of the best kept secrets of the region. Charming host, Romano Frosio consistently offers warm authentic Italian hospitality combined with an easy going laid back charm that is a reflection of the real island life on Koh Yao Noi. Every single item on the menu is simply fantastic -... More

This little place is run by an Italian called Romano, who apart from cooking great food also really gives the place a fun atmospeher, he's one of those hand-waving, larger-tha-life characters who was also v helpful with advice about where to go and what to do. After a pizza (with broccoli on, sounds unusual but amazing taste) we went on... More

Always fun to visit Romano, at La Luna. A warm, welcoming “Bonjourno”, unbuttoned shirt and the best Panacotta with extra fresh vanilla. Great wood fire pizza, good Amaretto and even better Sambucca. Very relaxed atmosphere and a great host. An institution on Koh Yao Noi. More

Pizzeria La Luna may not have been "the best pizza in the world," as owner Romano claimed, but it was delicious. Great atmosphere and a welcome change from Thai food. This restaurant is within walking distance of the Koh Yao Island Resort. More

My boyfriend and I went on the 25th of December for dinner ... there were lots of people (mainly local expats) and a lively atmosphere. There were great unexpected fire wood pizzas for a break from the thai dishes... and nice wine and cocktails. The owner and the staff were super friendly. I would definitely recommend for a night out... More
