Service was slow. Ambience was warm and authentic. Traditional Afghan music played live in the foyer. Food was great. Service was slow (did I say that already?) Would go there again, but would request faster service.

Enough said, the food is really good, and the atmosphere is great. Call to find out what day they have the musicians in and book the low table by the window.

Typical range of Afghan dishes, well prepared, tasty, but quite pricey compared to other Afghan restaurants in town (available to international staff). Nice setting.

If security is an issue then it might not be the best place to have dinner but the Sufi restaurant and Art Gallery offers excellent Afghan and Uzbek food.
