Started off great had two good meals there, had a bad one inbetween but been back lately for another good one. Hopefully they'll keep up the consistancy. More

Spent a lovely evening for a treat at Room81 we had Degustation menu and it was fabulous would recommend this restaurant for a special occasion we will return. More

We dined at room 81 on the Friday night, place was reasonably busy, and we had not booked but were made to feel welcome. The food was delicious, and the service was always wonderfully attentive, this is fine dining at it's best on the Gold Coast. Room 81 wasn't our first choice to be honest but as our usual haunt was closed for renovations so we opted to go here. Our criteria was quite simple ... somewhere with a reasonable selection of cocktails, good food and comfortable as we intended for our lunch to become a full afternoon. I went there few months ago, the service was very good and the food perfect. Firstly i was not sure if it was going to be good as usually food in hotel are average and overpriced. Room81 is like an independant restaurant with fine food and good matching wines!! I really enjoyed going there and will go again!!!! More
