We went to nomad since we heard so much about the restaurant. The food was dissapointing. The options are very limited, as appetizers you can choose crepes with different toppings as well as for desserts. Our dessert was actually very good! There was only 3 entreés which were okay but not very french. We might go back for dessert and... More

We went here three times on our visit. The first one, Christmas Eve, turned out to be a lovely experience, even though we found the service staff was headed by the architect, a beautiful French woman who is a spectacular designer but a well- meaning but over-worked waitress. Nevertheless, we returned twice, one night with our local hosts. That visit... More

Another tourist recommended Nomad so three of us went there. It was lovely and interesting. The chef owner couple do everything so get there early for decent service. A bit pricy and cash only. Very limited choices but crepe-type appetizer was quite good. More

We first discovered the Nomad in December of 2010. The Nomad was a new restaurant. It was our third year in the Nosara area and we are very familiar with most of the restaurants. We found the hostess and the chef very friendly, accommodating and refreshing. This year, we brought our friends to share in the ambiance and great food.... More

While vacationing on the beautiul Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. We chose Nomad largely as a result of a recommendation from our rental home's property manager and from its lovely descriptive flier. It promised to be a marvelous blending of French and North African cuisine. As suggested we made reservations a day... More

Nomad is a beautifully designed restaurant with a wonderful ambiance and great food! It was a complete surprise and i'm glad we found it. The owners are French ex-pats, the woman an architect who designed the beautiful space and the gentleman a wonderful chef. Admittedly, it's pricier than most of my Costa Rican meals but it's completely worth it..go ahead... More

This gorgeous restaurant, open to a garden, with dreamy white curtains hanging on the magnificent porch, offers wonderful French food. the fish was spectacular, the salad just right, and top-off mint tea was just the right touch. Our host and hostess were warm and welcoming, and we are already planning our return. Since it's bring your own wine (which they'll... More
