Platos has the BEST food in Puerto Rico! The service is very slow so be prepared to wait and relax. Their coconut mojitos are amazing. The bacon wrapped chicken and chicken mufongo are also fabulous! It is quite pricey, but definitely worth it.

The sangria is so good. The coconut is my favorite but the sparkling one is pretty good too. It was so good we went back another time and asked Stephanie to do a rum tasting for us. We love Stephanie. She was awesome! She served up 5 different rums starting with a citrus light and ending with her personal favorite...

The concierge from our hotel recommended this restaurant to us. We were not disappointed. Our server Janice recommend out entire meal since we told her we wanted to experience local food. Everything she suggested was spot on. I would definitely go back.
Went here with my wife, Angel was our waiter, excellent man, he gave us a great service and we never felt forgotten. It's just my opinion, but I think some things in the menu were expensive, then again, were in a tourist area. Had the Chicharrones de pollo, excellent. The only negative would be the alcapurrias, they hardly had any...

Food was good, services was slow and unfriendly. We were assisted by two different waiters. The second was more responsive but the first one was very slow, unfriendly and she had a face like she didn't want to be there. When she took our order she didn't write it down, then she came 20 minutes later to ask what we...

I loved this place. We asked a local bartender where we could get good local Puerto Rican cuisine and he recommended Platos. We went there on our first night in PR and I kind of regret having the best meal our first night! This was further backed up when we asked the concierge at the hotel for another local place...

We were referred to this restaurant by the concierge at Embassy Suites, and told it was a short distance away. There is a much shorter route around the Pueblo grocery, but we were told to walk down to the avenue, then walk to the east. The sidewalks were crowded, and crossing the street seemed to put our lives in jeopardy....

The food was excellent! We wanted authentic Puerto Rican food and we got it. The service was excellent! We ordered mofongo with white garlic sauce and yellow rice. We had never tasted coconut sangria. The waitress suggested it. It was amazing. We also had fried queso nuggets with mango sauce they were excellent!
Just exceptional food and service...we loved Victor! Really loved the atmosphere inside...nice music. We ate at Platos at least three times on our trip. So wish I could get food like that were I live!
