We had a long wait to receive the large mezze plate which we hadn't quite finished when our mains of prawns provencale (which was more like prawns in gravy )and lamb chops arrived. Bautiful location in nice Pythagorion (Samos Island): we dined in a garden with beautiful trees and flowers. Greek dishes were excellent (try saganaki and mussaka) and the service really good. Lots of tourists but some locals too. The place was crowdy (second week of september!), this was good sign! We liked also the offer of exquisite tipical liquors. Recommended!

First time food was excellent, good service & good wine. So we went a second time, sadly my lamb kleftiko was over cooked and rock hard, to be fair i pointed it out and they knocked it off the bill, just a little disappointed second time round.

Food was OK but nothing special. Rather over-priced. Service was slow. Rude and aggressive members of staff. Made to pay a final price which was more than the menu items combined. Plenty of other far superior restaurants/tavernas to choose from.

Travel to Samos and experience a Greek! Recommend strongly to visit Aphrodite Garden Restaurant, Pythagorion.
