Retseto Restaurant was very near to our accommodation (Evans Studios) and served up the tastiest kleftiko and Kefalonian Meat Pie that we found all week (and we tried a few places!). We ate out every night on our 2 week holiday. On two occasions we ventured into Argostoli-both experiences were a disaster despite plush restaurants with very tempting menus and over confident staff. We tried the best rated restaurants in Lassi and these were also disappointing. Then we discovered Retseto and for the rest of the holiday we ate there everynight.... More

We ate here twice during our stay. The second time the owner recognised us and greeted us like old friends. Both times the food was really good, very fresh and tasty. The house wine was good and excellent value. Good atmosphere and friendly staff, make sure you visit at least once. More
