Food was not fresh and served cold. The dishes look alright on the menu but the taste is average. You can get great food for 35 soles anywhere in Peru, not here though. Try La Sirena in Mancora, we had causa with fresh tuna and ravioles de camote( 25 soles).

Restaurant is located in front of the beach and is nicely musicalized during the day accordingly. Food is good, acceptable price, but do not expect to get served a lot... Flavors are a good mix between homemade and chef food. Take your prevision to order with anticipation. Although the place is very small, if two or three tables are occupied,... More

Dinner at this place is a must. The restaurant is part of Hotelier Hotel. Nothing fancy, it has a very laid back and artistic environment right in front of the sea at Las Pocitas. Try the "brochetas de langostinos al ajillo". Also "Causa a dos tiempos" is awesome and their "Atun sellado" should be internationally rewarded.

This restaurant had good food comparing to the rest of Mancora, it is located in Pocitas beach in the cozy Hotelier Hotel. I went to celebrate my cousin birthday with group of 16 people, including 6 kids. Great service, good food, they made sure all kid food was served first then the adults ate while kids where playing by the... More

Heard great things about this place and my boyfriend and i thought the food was very average. Certainly wouldn't bother going back and the ceviche in particular was very sharp and not at all special! Thankfully it wasn't too expensive and service was ok!

It is unfortunate you found the ceviche 'sharp'. I suppose that accounts for the acidity of the lemons--which varies sometimes. Hope you had a chance to taste other dishes, and if not we hope you come back. More

I barely can make out your comment. I guess your complaint is that the dish was too small and/or pricey. Our menu has prices from 6-34 soles. The specials on the board can range upwards, depending on the size of the whole fish or lobster or the cost of special ingredients. Our average main dish costs S/.28 or about USD$10.... More

Amazing food!! From gourmet, creative dishes to healthier versions of typical Peruvian food (while not stinting on taste) I loved everything that was put in front of me. The chicken salad is exceptional, the ceviche is AMAZING, and I highly recommend the mousse de chocolate and the suspiro a la limena for dessert choices. "Donde Teresa" is a must if... More

My girlfriend and I were very excited about our upcoming gastronomical experience at Donde Teresa in the hotel Hotelier. We were not disappointed! They have some awesome dishes. Here are some of our favorites: Atun Saltado, Cebiche Mixto, Causa de Pulpo con olivio, Linguini with scallops in a Salsa de Amarillo (spicey yellow sauce), and delicious homemade ice cream. The... We've been in Peru for the last month and have had some excellent food, so I was very excited to hear that the hotel we had chosen to stay in was rated best in Mancora in tripadvisor. The food here is ok, but nothing more. It's all a bit too fussy - confusion, as opposed to fusion, cooking, which drowns... More

Thanks for your comments. It is a pity we did not fulfill your expectations. There are many cooking 'schools' in Peru. The food is varied and appeals to different tastes. Something that seems confusing to a client, might delight another. I also recommend La Sirena as one of the best options in town. However, I find their prices significantly higher,... More

I went for 3 days and 4 nights to Mancora beach, and "Donde Teresa Restaurant" was the best restaurant in town, the food and drinks were fabulous, and the food was heaven. I recommed this place for to 3 reasons: Good food, great owner, and an amazing beach view. Thank you Daniel.
