At the back of town this is hard to find but worth the effort. Food is simple and well presented. The soupia dish was a little to saucy often a fault when using the ink of this fish to make the sauce. therwise a pleasant eating experience.

Taverna Barko is a really nice restaurant near the center of Adamas (1 minute by walking). The staff is nice even if they are quite stressed out when it is fully booked. The food is nice as well, it is better to order fish and meat compare to pasta, and the local food is really good (try baked feta). I... More

We had try a lot of restaurants in Milos. One of the most known local food is "cock with wine sauce".In this restaurant we tried the most delicious version of this traditional food. Not expencive and the quantity was more than other restaurants.Fast service,in a pleasant environment in a garden. Also the fried squid was excellent.

I love Barko! The food is simple, traditional, clean, in a word great! Try the xinotiri, soutzoukakia, ampellofasoula and melitzanosalata! I can't wait for next summer to come, just to eat there. Grigoris, the owner, is fun!

The location is nice but the food does not deserve a particular mention.

We went to Barko for our first night in Milos. The service was appalling, the restaurant was full and there was only 2 waiters running from one table to another, clumsy and disorganised. The food was average, nothing special and doesnt deserve to be among the first recommended restaurants in Milos. The atmosphere is not great either. It took so long... More

Ok food but not memorable. Cheap prices and very relaxed atmosphere. Stay away from the fried stuff.
