We had the 28 euro selection so much food, we probably should have had a lighter menu, but each course was amazing, would recommend it as a must

We have been going to this restaurant in Cadouin for the past 15 years, and never once have we had anything but great food. Set in the picturesque village, opposite the Abbey it offers a wonderful backdrop to enjoy marvellous food and drink.
A family run place that offers both alfresco dining as well as indoors. The menu offers both...

always greeted with a smile, then served great food, buy your wine by carafe it's both good and cheap and when you leave you will get a very pleasant surprise at the bill
We ate here with our two children on the last day of our holiday to the Dordogne. Cadouin in lovely and the restaurant is well situated rght in the middle of the square. The set menus were good value for money, and the menu d'enfant was just right for our two picky eaters. The food was delicious, especially the Iles...

We have been eating here for many many years. The menu has changed little, however, what they do, they do extremely well. The food is fresh and beautifully presented. Service is always fast, friendly and efficient. We have many restaurants closer to our home, but this one is worth the extra kilometres. We have never had a poor meal or experience.

We were entertained by a French 'jazz' trio on the square opposite murdering the Clapton and Dylan back catalogue - but...

Given the level of reviews here, the restaurant was a disappointment, being average at best on our visit in July 2012. With the local competition that's available around, the restaurant needs to improve its game to stand comparison with many of the best. Notwithstanding these comments, the food was perfectly adequate if lacking in imagination, and reasonably good value.
We have had several meals in this restaurant on our many visits to the area, the food has always been fantastic and great value They have a selection of menus at different prices and an a la carte menu (our last visit was 5 courses for 19 euros each). The service was first class and the village of Cadouin is...
