Hen Fecws never fails to hit the mark with food cooked to order and a fantastic choice on the regular menu and specials. Whether you just want a cuppa and cake or a light lunch/ brunch you would be hard pressed to find better in Porthmadog. You may seem to be paying a bit more , but well worth it... More

We have been here a few times and have never had a bad meal. My hubby had the seafood gumbo this time which was a special. I had the Club sandwich (the best I've ever had) and our little one had the soup. All were excellent and piping hot. Great location, just set back from the harbour, in an authentic... More

Excellent find. Really imaginative menu, lovely open fire and fab coffee. Pleasant staff and seems a regular haunt for the locals too-always a good sign!

We frequently visit Porthmadog but often had difficulty finding somewhere to eat. We stumbled across this by chance on a very cold January morning and what a treat the food is all freshly prepared using high quality ingredients. My husband had the breakfast despite arriving just after serving time. I enjoyed a wonderful bowl of homemade soup and hot bread.... More

Such a wonderful warm welcome on a cold January morning. Sitting beside roaring log burner, good coffee. Extensive menu. Shall definitely return for lunch with friends

We had lunch here a few days ago and were recommended by friends who live locally. Atmosphere was comfortable and cosy as we sat next to the log burner (we visited on a cold January lunchtime). Choice of food was interesting and varied. Draught beer and lager were on tap. Food was cooked to order so a bit of a... More

Eat or stay in this cosy restaurant with (designer) rooms and for a Bed and Breakfast establishment, you will not be disappointed. The food is made with a passion to your request and the service and vibe is great. Good value for money, we will return often

Decent eateries seemed to be somewhat lacking in Porthmadog, but this place really hit the spot when we needed a decent breakfast! Delicious cooked option and pretty good value. Would definitely go back if we were in Porthmadog again.
