We booked a banquet with a family we had met on our travels at Jade Green hoping that we would experience traditional curries and not the tourist version served elsewhere. We ordered rice and curry, and it was obvious the rice was a day old, and cold. We stumbled into Jade Tea Centre after having a few beers at the Ella pub...we could hear the fresh food being chopped in the kitchen while we supped on ice cold beers, sitting on the balcony. The wait was long but our meal there was hands down our best in Sri Lanka. AMAZING. More
