We sat at a sidewalk table in the late afternoon sun, amidst the outstanding scenery and relished a fabulous dish: Blue Cod with pumpkin and kumara mash, and avocado, tomato and feta salsa with salad greens. No-one else seems to use pumpkin (not the Halloween kind) as imaginatively as they do in NZ and combined with Kumara (the native sweet...

Stopped in for lunch - coffee and savoury muffin - it was all excellent. The muffin was tasty with hints of pumpkin and cumin. A warm and homey atmosphere with good service - we'll be back.
We often visit Relishes when in Wanaka and have always enjoyed it. Although the prices were a little high for us this time, mainly due to the very poor £, the food was still of a very high standard. We came here for a light snack in the afternoon and ended up coming back for dinner and breakfast. Great selection of dishes. Vegetarian cheese and feijoa panna cotta made with agar agar. Great service, too. Recommended!

The service was very well organised and the menu had a good selection. Our food was delicious although my medium steak was a little too rare. Pleased we saved space for dessert as there was...

So two coffees and two muffins turned into quite an expensive morning tea due to the surcharge. Service was also a bit slow, and yes there were quite a few people in there but...
