Pre-dinner drinks were able to be had from the bar and consumed out on their balcony,. Although not being smokers, we did notice the "trapped" cig smoke and overflowing ash trays. The meals were of a good choice, well prepared and promptly served and the staff very pleasant and helpful. More

We stayed at the Eldo hotel in Woomera on the way to Coober Pedy. Although the hotel rooms were very basic and dated (unless you like besser brick), the bistro attached to the hotel was a nice surprise. Not a lot of choice in Woomera! The main "hotel" building is simply a reception area and restaurant/bar; accommodation is in refurbished rooms in ex-government built blocks scattered up to 10 mins walk away.
