The food here is good. Service is spotty, but friendly. Sometime, just go and try all of the starters, they are great. I love the chopped kabob. If you want a different treat, try the Panjshir II

I've been to this Panjshir many times over the years and it's always consistent. The service is above average (though the owner does tend to most tables himself, so be a little patient), and the food is wonderful. Try the pumpkin! We love this restaurant and eat things there I thought I'd never like (turnips). I always get the chicken and mushrooms, but my husband is more adventurous and always likes what he orders.

we just came back from dinner. Very nice atmosphere, definitely more elegant look and feel than many casual restaurants. I would have given it five stars but for limited vegetarian options. All the appetizers have meat, as do all soups. The server said it would be possible to have an appetizer made without meat though.
We did not get appetizers....
