I've had good food when I've been in the bar area - they serve the full menu there, but I usually order smaller plats, which have been tasty. Just had the grilled chicken torilla salad - asked for a little salsa to dump on it, which took it from just food to delicious! More

My husband ordered the fish sandwich. It was really good, properly breaded and fried. Good french fries. My fettucine alfredo, however, was sticky from sitting around too long and the sauce just didn't have much taste. It was so disappointing. The house salad was very good, though. Guess this isn't a pasta restaurant. More

Two choices here (and I've tried them both) the main floor which houses the bar and the downstairs which is more of a white table cloth restaurant. Both have amazing food. The wood fired pizza was amazing; salads are huge; everything was delicious! The bar is amazing. Not only is it a nice atmosphere, but there is a constantly changing... More

Waited 15 minutes to get my beer. My wife ordered a salad extra with her meal and mine came with a meal. Waitress brought out hers after long wait and didn't bring mine. Then waited close to an hour to get our meal. Steak was not cooked as ordered. Also was half the size that it was the last time... More

Clifton has many great pizza options, but I like this the best. Smaller and not cheap but the crust is great. Try the pear pizza. Nice and desserty. And a good draft beer selection too. Try it. More

We went for their $9.95 breakfast buffet. The spread is somewhat limited and unimaginative -- the brunch dishes on the menu sounded much more attractive. The service was spotty. The restaurant is in the basement and could have had a much cozier atmosphere. More

I tried Olives for the first time with a fefw friends of mine after reading good reviews on the place. I have no idea what everyone is talking about! I tried the chilean sea bass as well as another friend of mine. Mine was ok at best. i have never had to salt chilean sea bass in my life and... More

Olives has a really inviting restaurant/bar area and a (seldom full) downstairs table area, but it's the same place. The beer selection is very broad, and you do better to ask your server for suggestions than to simply glance at the taps and order something familiar -- not to say that the beer is cheap, but certainly good. Meals range... More

I'm not sure why it is that Olives is empty most nights when I visit. I think perhaps the exterior scares people away. I used to think that it was a "fancy schmancy" (Oh yes, I use big words!) sort of restaurant and I passed it all the time on my walks down Ludlow without giving it much thought. One... More

I love this space and am glad that something went in after uno's left. The service was so so with the server spilling a glass of wine on us. The food was so so with portions that were smaller than I'd expect for the area More
