With a great view of Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati, Via Vite is an Italian Restaurant that serves up old fashion Italian cuisine in a contemporary setting. During a recent stay in Cincinnati, my wife, neice and I had the opportunity to dine for lunch at VV. They're on OpenTable.com and after seeing the flood of businessmen at lunch, reservations...

We ate here very late last night. We had been at the Reds game and we had stopped at several bars to have a few drinks since all of the restaurants in downtown were jammed after the game. We arrived here at about 10:30 p.m. and decided to sit at the bar because we were in t-shirts and jeans. Our...

We had 7:30 PM theater tickets so reserved for 5:30 PM. By 6 PM, this place was jam packed, but throughout the service was excellent. Even before we had any food the owner and head chef came over to our table to talk, and he returned two more times, which we found very charming. He is a ubiquitous presence in...

Overall, i had a pleasant meal. The starter was diver scallops with a brown butter truffle vinaigrette and parmesan shavings. The vinaigrette was perfectly executed, and the scallops were perfectly seared, crispy on the outside. The main was a creative take on gnocchi, pan fried to a crispy texture with four cheese sauce and shaved truffle. Here the four cheese...

Great location or this Italian inspired food. it is not your average pasta house. In fact, very few of the items were pasta based. but the food was good and the service was average. we sat outside and the host/owner bounced all over the place - a younger guy in his late 30's with a nice smile and 1/2 of...

Service was slightly slow. The Chef introduced himself and seemed especially pleasant. Had the tagliatelle and mussels and was a little disappointed. Sauce was too much and too vineragerry...I'm sure it would satisfy the basics but it certainly won't go down in the books as the most memorable of restaurants. If you have a car, try Virgil's in Bellvue instead.
My husband and I have been to Via Vite at least 40-50 times since it opened. Obviously, since we have been regular customers, we have really liked it. I am passing this feedback along in the hopes that the management will read it and because I want this restaurant to be successful long-term, even with all the new competition in...

We just went with friends to Via Vite on a Saturday night (when you positively NEED reservations - the place was jammed). This was probably our eighth trip or so, sometimes for dinner, sometimes for lunch. Always a great experience, which is why we keep going back.
The food is just fabulous. This particular trip, we had the herb-crusted tuna,...

This place cannot disappoint, walked in expecting much less and ended up leaving really surprised. Their pizza was outstanding. The lamb was even better. We wen't back for a second time and it's was the same level of service and quality. They can put most restaurants to shame.
