Had a couple of beers and the Maza plate, very cool place, high end cliental. we were in jeans and polos and felt underdressed, thus why we hit the bar. Good craft beer selection, not huge but enough to make me happy. The appetizer was very good and the dishes I saw looked great. they had some good wild game... More

You would never imagine this small place hidden away in a small strip mall in Blue Ash would be this innovative and inviting. It is chef owned and the food Is delicious and changes frequently. Entrees all come with their own accompaniments and sides.. Salads are ala carte. Desserts are wonderful. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended. More

We had the luck of dining at the Brown Dog Cafe during restaurant week. This encounter entailed an amazing 3 course meal for a discounted price. We started with the appetizers. I had the rabbit ravioli and she had the Goat cheese/apricot Bruscheta. The combinations of flavor were tantalizing to the palate. The salads were equally as pleasing. As for... More

Yet another hidden gem in the 'burbs. Food, service and atmosphere all top-notch. Stay away from the chains and patronize this and other independent restaurants. You will be very pleasantly surprised! More

My husband and I had dinner at the Brown Dog last night after going to Playhouse in the Park. We first shared the maza appetizer. Then I had the wild boar and my husband had the game trio (venison, wild boar, and rabbit empanadas). Both of our dinners were fantastic! (My husband actually described his dinner as "amazing".) We don't... More

Had a very pleasant and relaxed dinner on a Saturday night. Noise level low enough for good conversation. Comfortable booth. Excellent Malbec wine. Varied, interesting menu, epsecially the salads and appetizers. Duck Spring Rolls, Rabbit empanadas and other items not commonly found in Cincinnati and its environs. Well presented. Courteous, friendly service. Tuna was ordered very rare but came medium... More

Ate there once and WILL NEVER go Back. Watched the owner at lunch one time, cuss out a delivery driver because he was five (5) minutes too early with his delivery. Did this in front of his customers, Who does guy think he is, the Chef on Hell's kitchen, I think not, just a want-to-be with a crappy restaurant. Food... More

This restaurant is one of the jewels in Cincinnati - it is a cozy restaurant serving cusine that is a joy to the taste. The menu changes a bit from time-to-time, which always keeps the experience of something 'new' on the horizon. The service is great. The food is outstanding. And the ambiance is relaxing. More

Don't be fooled by the outside or its location although I've found it best to warn people that yes it is in the middle of a little set of shops and it's neighbours aren't very glamorous. Step inside and you feel like you're in a completely different world. It's small & intimate which allows for great service. The menu changes... More

Dinner here can be an appetizer and salad with wine, or a full course of fish or buffalo. The food is always fresh, tasty and has interesting combinations and sauces. Comfortable booths. The bar closes at 9 pm on weekdays, so not a place to linger late. More
