On our family's quest for the best hamburger in Honolulu, we reviewed Kua Aina and it did not meet our #1..... sorry. Location at Ward Center is convenient BUT if you have a car, drive on over to the Edge on Kapahulu Ave for their Wagyu burger for a take-out (unless you enjoy the ambience of eating between a parking... Although they special in hamburgers (and they did look good), it was Friday, so we opted for the fish sandwich. It was excellent. Large portions, you can definitely share the fries and even the sandwiches. Great shirt can be had for $12. More

pros: fish cooked well, could tell it was fresh fish, huge (enough for two, if shared a side also). cons: fries are the really thin ones. not my favorite. More

As a vegetarian, I can only vouch for the avocado sandwich, which is very good--massive portions of fresh giant avocado. Omnivore friends seem to love the burgers--esp the ones with avocado. More

This place is a must, I know your thinking what is the fuss over a burger. Well, this place is much more than just a burger, I recommend trying the avocado burger, it was the most unique, delicious sandwich I have evr had. I only wish I had the money to open one of these restraunts in Illinois. I know... More

Another favorite in Hawaii for delicous burgers and sandwiches. Try the Mahimahi with avocado - delicous: ) mmmmmmmmmm. Tried the Honolulu and Haleiwa locations. Both are excellent with awesome sight seeing in the area. A big selection of all your favorites at very reasonable prices. Certainly better than any fast food burger! Add this place to your "must eat list"... More

This place has some really good burgers! Its an Asian-Hawaiian fusion burger and sandwich joint with counter service and tasty meals. The counter person and cashier were nice. The carrot that comes with your sandwich was the BEST carrot ever!. My only complaint is they charge extra for pickles. More
