Nobody offered us specials or bread, after we asked for bread we had to ask for balsamic o (olive oil and balsamic vinegar) our server did not added water from the bottle, water that was priced at $8.50. More

If you want great service, wine and Italian cuisine when you visit Honolulu - come to Taormina. The service is 5 stars, the wine list is rich and varied and the food is superb. This restaurant is an outstanding choice for Italian fare in Waikiki. The service was attentive without being overbearing. The seafood bruscetta appetizer was very tasty, and the grilled chicken entree was one of the best chicken dishes that I have had anywhere. Really enjoyed our dinner here. Nice wine selection, and great food. Waiters are a little snobby, and need to loosen up a little, but despite that, we'd still go again. We didn't have a reservation, but you're probably best off calling ahead and getting one. It is a small restaurant, and likely fills up fast. More
