“great for a quick meal”

This is always a good stop if you want some take-out. We always get a platter with some type of fish or shrimp on it. They give you large portions and a side on macaroni and rice. More

tried the loco moco which was just average. the ribs were ok. aplace that gives you a ton of food but its just really average. More

So my friend decided to give me a taste of local fair while in Honolulu and she chose L&L! Omg, I loved it I got the Lau Lau plate which included Kalua pork, white rice, mac salad and pork steamed in a tea leaf. So good, when you go to Hawaii you have to stray away from the big chain... More

This was the first time I tried this location on Kuhio Avenue and they were real busy. The whole crew was packing hundreds of to-go orders for probably a tour group and I had to wait my turn. There are lots of these around. We went to the one in the Ala Moana mall. They offer plate lunches (scoop of rice, scoop of mac. salad and meat or seafood) for about 5 bucks. Most of the people there were locals, even at such a touristy mall. I'd go there again. More
