Love their kalbi and meat jun. Great selection of banchan as well. Very friendly and good portions. Also they are open late which is great!
We love this restaurant for the many items on the menu and option to grill at your table or have your food prepared and served to you. A must is the kim chee bi bim bap .......rice mixed with kim chee and served in a stone pot so hot that the rice is cooked to a crisp and gives an... More
This is a hole in the wall gem. The place is not fancy or even modern but if you like Korean food, you MUST go here. This is seriously my favorite food in Honolulu. PERIOD! I guarantee anything you try will be good, fresh and delicious. Even the complimentary side dishes are well prepared and just plain good. Beer is... More
We were checking out Yelp of Korean eateries while vacationing in Honolulu and came across this gem off the beaten track (just northwest of the Ala Moana Shopping Center, on a side street). Yummmm! Great value and scrumptious food. Not fancy...downright plain...but it's the food that excel! The pictures tell the whole story. I had the kalbi and chicken bulgogi... More
Great for those who appreciate good Korean food & don't care what the outside of the building looks like. Went with people who know Korean food & they loved it (I'm no expert). You get a lot of food for the money - an excellent value!
Went here with some friends ordered some Kalbi, Samjyupsol, about 2 orders each.. Good meat and great banchans. They had a bit of a line had to wait about 15 mins to get inside.. but was worth it..recomended if you want to eat some BBQ!!
If you come to Honolulu on vacation (or you live here), you have to eat at least one meal here. If you eat one meal, most likely you'll be back the next night. It's that good. The atmosphere is Korean divey - it's located on a side street behind Walmart, but don't let that deter you, the food is really... More
We usually don't order BBQ here, we go for the entrees as that's what we like in Korean food, and they make the dishes authentic enough, not as Americanized like other places. At least my favorite dishes are closed to taste that I had in Korea. I recommend going there for Korean food. Just too bad that recently they take... More
Not on the main road but a great local feel. Korean BBQ that seems authentic. The staff speak english and are attentive to the customers.
The food is great, the service sucks. If you go with a bunch of people, it's well worth it to cook your own food.
