Malasadas are deep fried doughballs rolled in sugar or cinammon or both, served very warm...........they are addicting. They sell other pastries but malasadas are king. If you visit Waikiki, visit Leonard's. More

Leonards Bakery is a local icon. Their hot malasadas, or Portugese donuts, are the best. More

While my husband and I were in Waikiki, we walked over to Leonard's Bakery twice. We sampled the malasadas (custard filled and plain) and we also tried the raisin bread. Both were absolutely delicious. We've had "jam busters" here at home but they are simply not on a par with Leonard's and the raisin bread was full of raisins. Pricing... More

We stopped by the famous bakery on a tour to polynesia cultural center. The malasadas were very yummy. It's a small bakery and I was told that there is always a line (there was a long one that morning!). Their cookies are also very good. Prices are reasonable. More

Great find! A friend and I found this local bakery on a whim and had heard reviews on it and decided to give it a try. We ordered the malasadas with custard, which were made fresh to order. When we got the box we could not help but dig in immediately to the warm, heavy, malasada - the sugar coating... More
