Ok so we would drive by this restaurant and see a line day and night and wondered what the deal was. Well we stood in line one afternoon for lunch and WOW! Udon noodles are thick noodles and all you order is sauce or stock. Then you have a great choice of tempura you can pick from. This place is... More

If you are in Honolulu don't miss out this gem. There is always a cue but that's only a good sign isn't it!? Delicious food and great prices. I'll come back anytime.

A great find especially if you like udon, in central Waikiki. There's a long line but it moves pretty quickly - about 20mins. Don't let that put you off though! Sooo cheap. You choose your noodle soup base then get various tempura on the side if you like. The udon soup alone is pretty tasty! It's not fancy. You eat... More

So so good. Wish we stopped in here earlier durig our trip. Simple, good, and totally affordable. I got the kake udon and the hubs got the niku. Tried the diff tempuras and they were all good but i probably would just stick with the shrimp the nxt time i visit. The line does get long but moves quickly. Most... More

The long line ups was our first indication that this was a must try, the second was the fresh udon continuously being made at the front of the restaurant. This cafeteria style udon restaurant is a must try if you are in Waikiki. The udon was delicious and the best I've ever had. To top it off, this place was... More

We loved this place. Very good noodle and fun picking all kind of Tempra and Musubi. You must try at least once or twice ;)

Cheapest meal we had in Waikiki, fresh noodles prepared in front of you, can't beat it. I didn't care for the tempura shrimp but the noodles were divine and I would go back in a heartbeat.

You can't beat fresh udon noodles. The prices are very reasonable especially in relatively expensive Waikiki area. The only time you could possibly avoid long wait is either first thing in the morning or just before they close.

Don't allow the long line to scare you off, it moves quickly. The meal is filling and flavorful. Cafeteria style service and open seating.

Freshly made udon hit the spot. Broth was perfect, not too salty like most Japanese/Korean places. Price was very reasonable (under $5, which I didn't think existed in waikiki), went right when they opened at 7am. Had to park a block away, make sure u bring quarters to park on the street or u can pay $4 to park in... More
