Great Newport spot with very good espresso...the owner is a competitive sailor who takes a ton of pride in Newport and in her coffee shop!!
The setting out on the wharf on a warm sunny late autumn day doesn't get much better than this when you can sip a good espresso coffee (apologies to most Americans but we find the average coffee quality awful), nibble on some quality cakes/pastries and a plain but very fresh sandwich. If you ever visit Newport, RI, Bannister's Wharf, and are a coffee lover and enjoy a water view...don't miss this place!!!! It is perfect and checks all the boxes! A great place to stop and rest while visiting the wonderful downtown, wharf area in Newport!

I appreciate her taking the time to show me, rather than disappointing me with a small. I... More
