The restaurant has German and Polish items on the menu, and they are delicious. This a converted house, and the owners are right there, cooking and supervising. There are knick-knacks and family pictures everywhere, and they’ll explain them if you ask. I’ve eaten a lot of Polish food, and this is the real home-cooked thing. The Golabki was delicious, as... Our waiter was pleasant and courteous. We found the décor very overdone with too much old bric-a-brac making the place feel cluttered and stifling. The setting itself was very dark. With some wide-sweeping and contemporary Eastern European-style renovations, it could look wonderful, and yet, still intimate. Polish music was played for a while. We found it loud - in spite... Now everyone knows how good grandma's homemade meals are!! If you want a truly authentic German meal, Prosit is the place! Right from the view of the front of the restaurant to entering the door anywhere inside, you feel like you are at grandma's house. By the time you leave there, you feel like you need to hop on a... Reservations are required for this tiny, quaint restaurant decorated with religious and old world memorabelia on Main St. in Wlsmville, NY. The menu fare is german and polish-very tasty food and the portions are generous but a little pricey. With dinner, all guest are served 3 delicious sides-a vegetable, soup, and stewed apples. Service was leisurely, staff very pleasant and... More

Prosit! is one of the best restaurants in the region! The staff are always warm and welcoming with a big smile (and an optional song!), and the food is superb! I've tried several of the entrees, everything is so tender and good! Where else can you get such high-quality German and Polish food in WNY... and in an old-world setting.... More

Visited march 6,2009. A very positive experience. Warm cozy decor, a warm greeting from Janice Schlau, the owner/chef. Lots of different Polish/German choices from the menu plus daily specials. We had the Schnitzel and the Frau Schlabraten. Both excellent. served with a potato pancake, red cabbage and a tasty vegetable mixture. The meal starts out with various breads from a... More
