Description: Welcome to over 4,500 square feet of cool. BB&K is where the buttoned-down crowd comes to impress at power lunches by day. And hipsters, downtown residents and event goers mingle at night. You needn"t be highbrow to come here. You just have to appreciate great food, sophisticated yet casual atmosphere, and exceptional service. At BB&K, urban tavern meets updated Italian comfort food and bold flavors marry perfectly with a mix of hearty to healthy items (gluten free/whole wheat pizza and pasta).

Our waitress was missing most of the time, and our food took WAYYYYY to long to recieve. We had a reservation for 7pm, and we didn't get our food for about an hour and a half. The waitress said there was a large party so thats why the food was taking so long. I think they need to be better... More

We tried going here once before and were shut out. Place was busy and we were just walk ins. This time I decided I would try to make a reservation. We were meeting people early downtown so I though should be ok. I looked online no availability. I called for a 5:45 reservation and was told no availability also. So... More

I had been to here twice before and loved it. This time we had a party of 5 and they mixed up our reservation, stating it was made for the following evening. After five minutes of awkward chaos from 3 hostesses ( lol ) they decided it would be best that we sat outside in a heated patio area. The... More

I heard about this new hot spot on the radio and was so happy to hear they have small plate options, brick oven pizza and salads that are also meals. I went for lunch and I cannot wait to go back! Our server, Pam, was awesome and really knew the food & made suggestions on what she thought was deliciious.... More

Unless your the world food critic from Italy... V... This place isn't to bad. I also know how to cook risotto and I found it to be plenty good. Thought our waiter was a very nice and knowlegable of the menu. Like sitting on the outside patio they have (turn down the heaters a notch). I also got the fish... More

Four of us visited Bambino yesterday. First impression: Loud, especially for a Wednesday night. Second impression: The waiter was almost agressive, he certainly was working on a commission basis as he tried to up-sell every single choice we made. We went to the restaurant for the food, so let's focus there. The menu was interesting, with a decent range of... More

My wife and I realy enjoyed our meal. The menu includes everything from chicken wings to Osso Buco and everything in between. Everything we ordered was excellent and reasonably priced with large portions. The place is trendy but also has a very friendly atmosphere. Our server, Marybeth, did a flawless job and was also very friendly. My only minor complaint... More

Put it this way: the tripe was perfect. Per my Sicilian-American friend across the table: “It’s impossible to get good tripe in Buffalo restaurants.” The other two Sicilians at the table did not order tripe, but affirmed the authenticity and quality of the chow. Food is Italian, pushing towards the high end in quality, without the high prices and pretention... More

Went with 3 business colleagues on a Tuesday night. Great bartender. Created a martini with pineapple juice and whipped cream vodka. Excellent. No Corona - that's a bummer. Excellent waiter. We all ordered the same thing - nightly special risotto with chicken. Plus crab dip for appetizer. Bread was good. Unfortunately, the risotto wasn't great. We all thought it tasted... More

On a recent bike tour of the Erie Canal, we visited Buffalo for the first time. The front desk clerk at our hotel recommended Bambinos as it was within walking distance. The downstairs bar was packed with the after work crowd, and the upstairs dining room was busy, but not hectic. It was quiet and friendly. The staff was great,... More
