The food is very authentic and of excellent quality. Also has a very good selection of Spanish wines. Maybe a little pricey, but well worth it More

My meal was outstanding...tapas, veal, bread, salad, wine, service. I'm ready to go back now, and I just ate there 4 days ago. More

First, when yo pay $36 for a pitcher of Sangria, you are entitled to expect something really special, not something really mediocre. Actually, I'm being too charitable to call their Sangria mediocre. In fact, it stinks! Watered down. And no fruit except for four orange slices served on the side. Shame on us for not sending it back. We noticed... More

Seafood is the specialty here, served as in Spain. All dishes were very flavorful, and the wait staff very informed. The service is excellent. Don't miss the cheesecake, made by the executive chef's wife. More

Chispas, the bar at El Meson is a great place to hear jazz, drink Spanish wine and enloy tapas. The space is casual, intimate and charming while the food is delicious and the selection of wines is amazing. The wait staff are friendly and attentive. A good time was had by all. More

I had dinner with friends at this tapas restaurant and we all love tapas! Our waiter was attentive and the atmosphere was nice. However, the food just didn't meet our expectations. I am primarily a seafood eater, so we made sure to order the scallops and shrimps dishes, but both were definitely over cooked. The bottle of wine we initially... More

We enjoyed our dinner at El Meson, our waitress was very knowledgeable and made some great recommendations. We chose three appetizers which were very good and then had the DeMariscos Paella which was loaded with seafood, it was delicious! The only disappointment was the sangria, too fruity and not enough alcohol, if any. But overall our meal was very enjoyable,... More

Set the scene: a friday afternoon. Driving to Santa fe. Looking forward to some nice vegetarian tapas. Fast forward an hour or two: tapas are set down. We dig in. And the hopes come crashing down as a bird does after they crash into a window. If you are a vegetarian and you like terrible eggplant dipped into crushed tomatoes... More
