Very limited menu, prices are steep. Food was ok, service was fine. Overall a good experience, but I would probably choose a different restaurant next time.
We had a nice dinner here. We've walked by for years, kind of avoiding it as it seemed like a tourist trap. But we were kind of tired and it smelled good! The fries were great, the stroganoff more than my husband could eat, and my lamb burger was fantastic. Lots of fresh, local food and reasonable prices. We'll be... More
Not sure if it was the harbor view, the food, drink or live music (Tony & Cecil), but for a Sunday night we had a lively good time!
We stopped in for lunch while waiting on the ferry and found the Cask and Schooner to be a neat restaurant with a great looking pub and reasonable food even though we were hitting them at an off hour for lunch. Our selections were simple but everyone in the group was pleased with their selections. I had the flank steak... More
This charming little place has a wonderful selection of fresh, well prepared and thoughtfully presented food. ...all the regular lunch items with just a little extra twist to make them exceptionally delicious. I had the grilled calamari salad with green papaya ...amazing. My fiance chose the grilled chicken sandwich with brie, apple and smokehouse bacon and he is still telling... More
This place is located right where the ferry lets out @ Friday Harbor so we thought it might have just mediocre food being right on the tourist route. But the food was excellent, we had fish that was very fresh and well prepared. Service great too.
I ate here with two friends and we all thought the restaurant was great. The food (flap steak and halibut) was excellent at a reasonable price. Our service was fast and efficient and our waitress' recommendations were great. The nautical deco was well done and the location at the harbor is terrific. The place was very busy when we were... Amazing mussels in a spicy tomato sauce. Great live music on a Sunday night. Really great service. The only thing missing is a view of the harbor. Ah well, maybe from one of the bar stools. Loved this place.
The Cask and Schooner isn't about beer, although there is a nice selection. The wine choices are complimentary to the food and you do get to choose something from the San Juan Vineyard. The setting is in the replica of a schooner with real pieces from a hundred years ago. You are surrounded by open spaces, friendly and efficient wait-staff,... More
