It's pretty hard to screw up Mexican food, but... The queso was bland, the food was basic. The riverwalk is a tourist spot so base your dining decision on a place with a long wait! We were pressed for time and La Paloma didn't have a wait, that should have been our first clue. More

We had higher expectations but overall it wasn't bad. Food was pretty good, portions were decent, drinks were OK. Nothing bad, nothing memorable. The waiter was pleasant and the view was great. There are a ton of great places to dine on the riverwalk, I can't think of a compelling reason to return to La Paloma. More

When we travel to San Antonio, we always work in a visit to this restaurant. They have a wonderful patio and the food and house margaritas are always excellent. Wait staff is friendly and helpful with suggestions. More
