I love this restaurant. The food is very good and three wait staff are very good as well. I have the shrimp Mirasol. The sauce is very good too. Sit outside and enjoy the weather. Just hope Blanco isn't busy so the traffic noise isn't bad.

We dined at El Mirasol while in town for Fiesta. Please note that if you're staying on the Riverwalk, this restuarant is about 25 minutes ($48 cab fare one way) away. Have the premium margarita; the best we've had anywhere. The menu is extensive and features numerous sauces; not only did our waitress do a great job of describing them...

I was surprised to see the number of people there on a Thursday evening since I don't know of anyone who wants to meet at the restaurant anymore. It had been some time since my last visit but I remembered being impressed by their margaritas, which I ordered this time. It was way over-priced and not nearly as good as...

While they are a tad pricey, this is the best I've had....here or anywhere else. Very much enjoyed the lobster enchilada and my husband's taco's were great. We've been here 3 times now and plan to be regulars...
Try the El Mirasol Shrimp, it is fantastic! The margaritas are pretty good as well. Sit outside when the weather is fantasitc, like it is now in March!
Great place for wonderful enchiladas and margaritas in a patio environment. Service is attentive but not intrusive. Plan to stay awhile in the relaxed atmosphere.
Not anything like your standard tex-mex restaurant. Sort of hidden, we heard about it from friends when we moved to San Antonio. We take all of our friends from out of town as it is the best Mexican food in San Antonio and it is not touristy at all. You will not get anything this good on the river walk,...

Visting San Antonio for a long weekend and a wedding. Had dinner here with friends after reviewing the top restaurant options close to our hotel on Trip Advisor.
I can't say the experience was unbelievable, but this is, certainly, a good quality establishment with authentic mexican cuisine and good service. The value for the money is good as well. I...

Our party of 4 enjoyed a very nice evening on the restaurant's relaxing patio. The commercial jets flying overhead toward the airport were an occasional distraction, but we eventually were able to ignore their noise. We especially liked the mole and seafood enchiladas; the mole sauce is the best we've tasted in San Antonio. We asked for substitutions (borracho beans...
