This was our first visit to this restaurant, which is long past its prime. No efforts have been made to update its exterior or interior from its 1950s-1960s era look and the food, I suspect, has gone downhill. The service, however, was excellent. The dirty glass entrance door and unswept entryway floor were good clues as to how this restaurant... More

Bud Jones is one of those iconic San Antonio eateries on the southside of town. Nuthin' fancy, but they do it all, breakfast, Tex-Mex and giant Country Fried Steaks! During the day it has an old school meat and three (sides) style lunch menu.Their cheese enchiladas are not fancy, just good. More
