The restaurant is very dark, but a great atmosphere none the less. I was eating alone during Fiesta and they were very busy, so I ate upstairs at the bar. The drinks were old-fashion and wonderful. The filet mignon melted in your mouth like butter! Very pricey, but very worth it! One mixed drink, spinach salad, filet mignon, and dessert... More

This restaurant lives up to it's reputation. It's not cheap but worth the cost for excellent steaks & service More

We were very happy with Bohanon's. The food was incredible, there was a great wine list, and the service was very attentive. The ONLY small complaint we had was that our server wasn't very helpful with the wine list, and didn't offer to bring the sommelier over. As I said, though, that was small. Highly recommend the steaks, and the... More

We were a little put off by the prices as the minimum price for a steak was $40.00 which was for the meat only, but the fillet Mignon was the best I've ever had. The waiter presented other cuts of meat over and above what was on the menu starting at $79.00 up to well over $100.00 per piece. Based... More

The atmosphere was upscale but not stuffy, the wait staff just amazing (shout out to our waiter, Albert, who was very funny, in addition to providing wonderful service), and the food, oh my goodness! Our party of four had steak, lobster, asparagus, steak fries fried in truffle oil with sea salt, tomato mozzarella salad, coconut shrimp and bananas foster. It... More

We were four couples for dinner somewhat late on the Sunday evening ending San Antonio's 10 day fiesta. We had not made reservations but thought we'd give it a shot. Hostess was gracious and had us seated within 10 minutes. I wish I could remember our server's name because he was fantastic. All of us ordered off the menu, not... More

Unless you're buying bottles of wine and ordering up, don't expect too much friendly service. The food is ok, not terrific. I also tried their downstairs bar & burgers and did like that more, at least at lunch. More

Excellent service and steakers were cooked to perfection. We ended with Cappuccino which put an end to our almost perfect experience- weak filtered coffee and limp foam. A 1 star end to a 5 star meal More

Great service and locale. white table cloth and linnens. But if you don't have your head up your butt with snobbiness like on GCB, there are far better places for steak and seafood in SA More
