Loved this place. Came here for our anniversary. We requested to sit outside and loved every minute. It is on the terrace and below you is the river walk. Very quiet because it is towards the end of the walk and romantic. The food was delicious. My husband ordered the venison and I had the lamb...yummy. Our server, Chris was... More

We enjoyed our meal and the service, but felt it was not that great of a value as compared to other restaurants in the city. It was a less hectic part of the river walk which was nice. More

Service was great, food was good however it wasn't outstanding. Just typical & average. We stayed at the grand Hyatt & walked to Biga.  Which was a further stroll than I imagined.  I ordered the lamb & my bf had steak. As with most lamb if you don't like the gaming smell don't order. His steak was a but over... More

We went to Biga and had a great meal. The food was outstanding and the service was very good. The only thing to be aware of is the price and portions. For San Antonio this restaurant is expensive and the portions are small. I would recommend getting there from the street not the river. Be ready for beggers on the... More

This place was a recommendation from a friend who travels a LOT...he knew we were used to places like Gordon Ramsey's London in NYC and Aqua in San Fransisco. So we expected it to be a little more than it was. I give it 3 stars because of the service and customer care. 1. It's impossible to find on the... More

Had a dinner party there last night. The food overall was excellent. We had the Shiner onion rings which were excellent, chipotle spiced lobster in tomato soup and mustard encrusted lamb. All those were excellent. We shared an appetizer with ground turkey, ostrich, and buffalo that was so-so and the cheesy grits with the lamb was so-so. I love the... More

In San Antonio it is always a nice departure to find a restaurant of quality that is not rooted in Southwest or Mexican cuisine. The food was a 4 out of 5, with good selection, inspired tastes a and reasonable value. The detractor was our choice to enjoy a beautiful evening overlooking the River Walk and the relentless plague of... More

We walked the 8 blocks from our hotel. The view was serene, above the river with Rio Taxi's passing by. The waiter was engaging, knowledgable, relaxed, and attentive. Wine selection is impressive, and we were encouraged to sample before making choices. The grilled mushroom appetizer is a sensational start. Lamb shanks were meaty and robust; barbq sause didn't add much.... More
