I love this place. Fresh pasta, bread and oven baked pizza. Bread and spiced olive oil to start is addictive. I love their sopressata pizza, duck confit, ribeye, trout with oil and capers, fuagra or the kobe meatballs with a center of house made mozzarella and spaghetti in bolognese sauce (wow). More

Every single time I have eaten at Tre, it has been delicious. Let me clarify just a little for readers- there are TWO locations. There is one located in the Fairmount Hotel downtown, and the original one on Broadway near the Witte Museum. I have eaten at both, and they are both very good. The hotel Tre is geared a... More

Went to lunch and the crowd was very small. Service was excellent, and the cheap mimosas made it even better. It is across the street from the Villita on the river, so it is not the easiest place to find if you are on the riverwalk. Positives: Food is excellent, service was nice, and the specials were good. The nutella... More

What a great place! Walked here easily from the Riverfront twice, and had to make ourselves go try something else after that. The atmosphere was wonderful and the staff super attentive. The only bad part was that it was really difficult to decide what to order, one person just told the waitress to decide and surprise her. She was thrilled... More

Branzini was excellent. Others had roast chicken to share & trout. All was well prepared. My only complaint was the limited selection of veggies. Had a very nice wine, Piedmont Ceretto Monsordo 2004, $75. Yes, I even wrote it down. More

The family went for Saturday night dinner. Even though they said reservations were not accepted, they took our name over the phone, and our expected arrival time, and we waited only 3-4 minutes. All food is served family style. The mozarella is wonderful and house-made. The roasted chicken was unbelievably tender, with crispy skin. We had to wait and while... More

Italian bread, crusty with a soft interior, flown in from New York's Tribeca Oven ... with that attention to detail, you can imagine the rest of the meal. We went light, vegetables and salad followed by two kinds of pasta. Pasta is fresh, distinctive and the salads are very lightly dressed while still managing to be flavorful. Next time I... More

Delightful surprise off Broadway in Alamo Heights. I love their Tagliatelle with mushrooms dish (dont recall the name) - so tasty. The unusual lighting fixtures help create a trendy but comfortable and visually appealing setting. Very nice for lunch and I would love to return for dinner sometime! More

We had brunch and enjoyed Green Eggs and Ham (was actually salumi) and Pasta with Mozzarella Filled Wagyu Meatball and fresh tomato sauce. These meals were so fresh and delicious that we would be hard pressed to try anything else! They also offer the first two mimosa drinks for $1 each. The coffee was not ordinary and was delicious. The... More

We went to the location near the river walk and found this to be a delightful place. It has Avery interesting menu and while there are some standards there are also some very interesting combinations. We started with the pulled mozzarella which was served with toast points and sea salt. We found it to be very nice combination. My wife... More
