We stopped here on the walk back to the train station, and ordered a clam chowder which was really good. The lady who served us was really friendly. Lots of locals were ordering take outs whilst we were there, which is always a good sign.

On a cold March night, nothing was better than homemade clam chowder in a bread bowl. Tender clams in a creamy base with lots of potatoes, steaming hot in a freshly baked bread bowl. Filling and delicious. When then soup was gone, I kept tearing at the bowl with the left over chowder that soaked into it. Hearty and satisfying....

I had a Lobster soup and my girlfriend had the Italina Beef stew. Both were incredible! The Italian sandwich was also right up there. Highly recommended...

Vegan, vegetable, fish. Something for everyone. Sample before you choose. Comes with wonderful bread. Get a small salad for a side.

Just had the spicy tomato and rice with red chile peppers. I added the motza ball for a delicious lunch! Love all tr different soups.
Had the corn and clam chowder with the Hamlet sandwich. It was really tasty and would recommend to anyone. Tried a couple of the other soups before deciding on my final choice and they were also very good. Staff behind the counter were efficient and helpful.
