The food here is authentic cuisine passed down from generations. They have a Sambal shrimp, which is out of this world. It is hard to find at other restaurants. We eat at NEO about 2 to 3 times a month. My favorite dishes are: Tom Yom soup, Garlic Vegies and Curry Veggies. You can have tofu or any type of... More

A Malaysian family owned and operated restaurant by second and third generations, they offer a mix of traditional Chinese fare with distinctly Malaysian dishes. We start with the Wor Wonton soup - big bowl of soup with chicken, pork, shrimp, a mixture of aldente vegetables and of course wonton; plenty for three or more. Expect to share entrees family style... More

Who would guess that this nice but unremarkable looking restaurant could pack such a flavor punch? We dropped in only because we were shopping nearby and anything that even hints at Malaysia is worth a try. Some of the dishes looked familiar, like the Tom Yum soup. We only wanted it be good enough, but it was as good as... More

I would bypass the sushi and concentrate on the other Asian food offerings. The interior is very nice with several eating areas around a central bar. There is also nice outdoor seating. More

If you're looking for high-quality ingredients, delicious food and great service, Neo's is the place. We always order the pad thai and the fried rice, and then add a dish we've never tried before, and we haven't been disappointed yet. The service staff is enthusiastic about the food and knowledgeable about ingredients and preparation. If you're looking for a good... More

My husband and I read the reviews and headed to the restaurant on a Saturday night. Neo was very nice, the inside decor splendid. The potstickers are truly the best in Tucson......yes we are connoisseurs .lol. The family portions were great. The prices were fantastic! The people who reviewed and said it was expensive must be used to mc d's dollar... More

Service: Waited 12 minutes for order to be taken and after eating, waited 10 minutes for check.. only 7 tables occupied in restaurant and 3 wait staff on duty. Food: Ordered white fish in Lemak curry. Sauce was thin and watery and had no lemongrass or coconut flavor. Potatoes in it were "old" having been cooked way ahead. The fish... More

if you're used to "americanized" chinese food, then this place probably isn't for you. however, if you're familiar with southeast asian cuisine, then this is your best option in tucson. the flavors are robust, and each item i've ordered strikes a nice balance between sweet/spicy or bright/savory. for your first visit, i highly recommend the lamak, mesak merah and the... The Lemac salmon is superb. The orange chicken is outstanding. The curry dishes are flavorful. More

I really wanted to like the food, because I hate to see locally owned restaurants go out of business. I probably should have ordered something other than the seafood special on a Wednesday night. The octopus and squid had the consistency of a bicycle tire, and though the lobster was done perfectly, it was far too salty. Our dinner companion... More
